Cuidar tu salud siempre debe ser una prioridad, pues una enfermedad o un accidente pueden presentarse en cualquier momento de la vida. Si cuentas con un trabajo formal, es importante que sepas que tu empleador está obligado a cubrir tu afiliación a EsSalud y podría, incluso, brindarte la alternativa de acceder a una EPS. Asimismo, si deseas contar con una cobertura mucho más amplia o eres un trabajador independiente, tienes la posibilidad de contratar un seguro de salud privado.

Seguro de vida.

Si trabajas en el sector privado, recuerda que independientemente del régimen o la modalidad en la que trabajes, tu empleador está obligado a contratar el Seguro de Vida Ley, que garantiza a tus familiares un alivio económico temporal, en el caso de que sufras muerte natural, accidental o invalidez permanente total.

SOAT.

Si conduces un auto, la ley te exige contar con un Seguro Obligatorio de Accidentes de Tránsito (SOAT), de lo contrario deberás pagar una multa de S/ 552 (12% de una UIT). Este producto tiene un carácter social, pues su fin es garantizar las atenciones médicas y/o indemnizaciones para todos los afectados por un accidente de tránsito, se trate del conductor, los pasajeros o los transeúntes.

Seguro vehicular.

Ten presente que su costo varía según el plan que elijas, el lugar del mundo al que vas a viajar y los días de tu permanencia allí.
